We had a pleasant stay, and allergy requests were taken seriously. At this price, the good food and friendly service made it a small four out of five for a countryside inn. The fish buffet was especially good, with plenty to go around; the wine was fine. Coffee and cake on arrival were okay, nothing memorable, and breakfast was a traditional Danish spread of bread, eggs, yogurt, and assorted cold cuts. Our room was in the house next door. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was a bit cramped but usable. There was an old smell, perhaps because the place had been unused for a year and a half during Covid-19. We missed having a kettle, tea or instant coffee, and shampoo and body wash, so bring your own. The upstairs fridge barely cooled our beer and soda.

The staff were kind and helpful, and we enjoyed the seafood menu and wienerschnitzel. We were two middle-aged couples staying for a weekend in an apartment overlooking the harbor. It had good beds, a kitchen, and a large living room. There was only one bathroom, but we managed fine. We’ll be back next year.

The fish buffet was delicious, though it could have used better sides to go with the fish. Our room was actually in a nearby house, with its own access to the garden. Still, I’d recommend the place to anyone who likes fish.

A lovely spot in a quaint little harbor town, and a good choice for a restful weekend. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The fish buffet was amazing. I’d visit again.
