The road from Lemvig was blocked. My room was clean and practical, though it was away from the main building. Restaurant service got off to a good start, but the menu was only in Danish, so check that Google Translate is working.

The sea view was good, and the location was great. It was quiet, clean, with comfortable beds, good Wi-Fi, and good parking. The bathroom felt cramped, especially around the toilet. If you’re big and tall, you end up sitting sideways with your right arm in the sink.

We were well looked after at Hotel Nørre Vinkel during our business visit to Lemvig. I’ve just come back from a two-night stay and, as usual, was happy with the accommodation. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. We also had an excellent steak dinner in the restaurant, and the breakfast buffet had a decent selection. Pretty good overall.

The hotel sits in the amazing nature of Thy, with golf courses right in the backyard. It also has a fantastic restaurant with great food and generous portions, and the staff are always smiling and helpful. The buildings could use some TLC, and the facilities are frankly lacking, so those aren’t what earned it my four stars.
