The old monastery and the scenery around it are beautiful. This place really lives up to its name: it feels like a refuge, with a simple, minimalist room and no TV. It’s quiet, so you can be with your own thoughts. There’s plenty to do, like read, ride a bike, walk or hike, or just sit and watch the sky.

It feels like time slows down here. The beautiful church outside makes it easier to unwind and reflect on what life is for. You’ll probably come across well-educated groups of Christian theologians here for a course, or people looking for more inner peace. Just go, Christians don’t bite!
