The kitchen is very old, with barely the basics, though there is a decent amount of crockery. The rooms were reasonably clean and okay, just not particularly attractive. The shower could use a thorough descaling. The landlady was friendly, but after handing over the apartment we had no further contact. Guests upstairs made noise from time to time.

We were on the floor below and could hear noise from the other apartment. Also, the bedroom looks straight onto a streetlight, so proper curtains are really needed. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, with nearby street parking, and the mattress was quite comfortable. The bedroom layout is a little odd, the bathroom too dark, and for the price I’d have liked a bit more kitchen equipment. We never met the owner, but everything was handled with care.

I really liked the beautiful wooden beams in the flooring, and the overall decor was pleasant enough. The living room is spacious, with a dining table and sofa bed, and fairly comfortable. The kitchen is dated and not especially attractive, though it’s functional and well equipped. The bed’s mattress was much too soft, and there’s no headboard, so I would have liked more than one pillow. The bathroom is the main drawback, with exposed pipes and odd walls. There’s a washing machine but no dryer. The kitchen and bathroom could both use an update.
