Very basic camping, and not as clean as I'd expected. At night it's full of insects, and even the best DEET repellent in the world won't keep them away.

We booked two cabins as a group, and they were super cozy. There's a nice shared room where everyone can sit and have fun. The pool was good, and the water slide was cool. Jes, who owns the place, is really sweet and very accommodating.

The dog-friendly setting, walking routes, water park, and fair price all made this a lovely place to stay. The rental manager gave us a really warm welcome, and there are plenty of spots in a good range of sizes. The toilets and showers are nice and being updated. I wasn't keen on having to pay in advance. To me, camping means being free to travel when I want without risking losing money, otherwise I might as well book a package holiday. I also wish the advance payment requirement had been stated on the website, because it wasn't.
