Kragenæs Marina Lystcamp

I didn't stay here, but even in high season it looked calm, well kept and very clean. I'd definitely consider staying overnight soon.

The view was the best part of this lovely campsite. It seemed a bit underused, though we were glad it wasn't crowded with tourists. There was lots of space and the amenities were great, including a lounge with a TV and big bathrooms. If you come to Denmark, this is a place you should camp.

I came to see the art sculptures, and the five heads were well worth the several-hour drive, even though the work isn't fully completed yet. The walk is 700 meters, about a mile for us Americans, and the cold, rain and wind made it a bit much. My mom is nearly 80 and has two replacement knees, so she only got halfway, but she enjoyed the pictures I showed her when I got back to the car. We weren't here to camp, but I'd consider it. The clean, nice toilets and showers, and the pleasant, helpful staff made a good impression. On a nicer day, the accommodation, bay and boating would probably make for a lovely holiday. Seems like it could work for summer, a week, or just a few hours.

The shared facilities were nice and clean, and the staff were helpful and polite. It's quiet and easy to find your way around. We stayed in a small transit cabin. It works if you just need a roof over your head for sleeping, but for a comfortable holiday I'd choose somewhere else.
