For what we paid, we could have rented a whole house nearby. They charged 80 euro for bed sheets, which felt like a total ripoff. We expected to share the shower and toilet, but the room was tiny, with old bunk beds and chairs that weren't fully painted. I caught my wedding dress on one of the chairs while sitting down. We had booked a night here for our wedding ceremony, and I've never had such a bad experience. This felt more like a dormitory than a hostel. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The breakfast was just wow, and the service was so friendly. It's about a three-minute walk from the ferry harbour, which made the location really convenient. We slept well in the comfortable beds. The rooms are small and have bunks, with not many plugs, though each person gets a locker and there's a table with chairs. There are lots of nice touches in the decor. I'd definitely come back.

The evenings were such a joy, with everyone cooking, chatting, and having fun together. We celebrated our wedding on the island, and all of our family enjoyed staying at Femmasteren. Ulla runs the place with so much love and energy, and was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had plenty of fresh, local choices for a good start to the day. Everyone also loved the excellent fish dinner from the Røgeri Prinsebroen. The thoughtful interior design gives the place a distinctive atmosphere.

We had nowhere to stay the night before our wedding in September because there was a problem with our earlier booking. They welcomed us warmly, and it turned out to be a wonderful place to stay. Thank you!

We had an open sandwich with avocado and salmon, plus an Ærø pancake, and both were nice. The waitress was really kind, and you get a view of the harbour. I can recommend this place.
