The memorable sea views and historic feel made for a lovely stay, and it's a unique place we'd recommend. One thing to watch for is the bathroom situation: some rooms don't have their own shower or bathroom. In that case, you share the one on your floor and use a shower on the lower level. If you get one of the rooms on the right side, there's no issue.

It's hard to describe, so you really have to try it. The atmosphere is quiet, relaxed, and nice, and the dinner was fantastic and tasty. The staff were very pleasant. If you're planning a day off, this is the place I'd choose. I can only recommend it.

Quiet, with a fantastic spot by the water and within walking distance of Marstal. It was fairly expensive, though it was high season.

We ended up here on a spontaneous trip to Ærø and had a great experience. The people were very kind, and the accommodation was down to earth, in a renovated nursery home. We didn't get to try the restaurant, but heard it was worth visiting. Book ahead.

The location is excellent, with an amazing sea view from the window and a terrace where you can have a meal. The staff were friendly and helpful. The furniture is really old, and there was no kettle or hairdryer in the room. I think the price is too high for this hotel, and the comfort is overrated.
