HUSET Middelfart

The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the place itself was really good. We got stuck outside for about an hour when we arrived to check in at 9:30 pm. Since we’d booked through booking.com, we never got a door code, and all the staff had already gone home. Luckily, another guest came by and let us in, and there was an envelope with our names and room keys waiting for us. It was a pretty scary start. Book directly with them and it’s a great place to stay.

Good value, with clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was good too.

The vegetarian food was a pleasant surprise. I hadn’t told them in advance that I’m vegetarian, but there were several salads and a vegetarian or vegan main dish to go with them. I was there to give a presentation at a conference and didn’t know what to expect. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful, and showed me where to go. It was easy to find, parking was plentiful, and the surrounding forest and nature were lovely. The conference room was usable, though a little worn, and the tables and chairs weren’t especially comfortable. The equipment worked, apart from the sound system, which made some unpleasant noises now and then while presenters were speaking. The toilets were clean and looked after, but felt small, and there could have been more for the number of people and events that day. All in all, it was a good experience. I’d recommend HUSET Middelfart and would come back myself.

A peaceful place with comfy beds, friendly staff and a good breakfast. Lovely nature nearby, with plenty of chances to hike or run. Well worth staying a few days.
