Falsled Kro

Daniel especially made us feel welcome and comfortable. The staff were extraordinary, and the whole experience was wonderful from beginning to end. Such a special place!

The garden grounds are gorgeous, and the afternoon cake and coffee were a lovely touch. Our room was amazing, with lots of thoughtful details, and the restaurant was incredible. I'd love to come back someday!

What makes Falsled Kro stand out for me is the staff. From reception to the waiters and chefs, everyone was welcoming, professional, well trained, and clearly passionate about their work. I can't remember the last time I experienced that kind of service. The historical buildings and beautiful garden set a lovely scene, though those are things an owner can provide with enough money. The staff are what connect the setting with the food and wine and make the place special. I care a lot about food and wine, and enjoy good service, so all of those things matter to me. The menu and rooms have already been praised enough, but the people working here are the real beauty of the place.

The food is top quality, and the service is excellent. It is a little pricey, but the warm, relaxed atmosphere makes the stay feel welcoming. The meal leaves you wanting nothing, and with some nice wine, you sleep very comfortably.
