I slept better than I had in months in one of the dark sky cabins at Camønogården. My boyfriend and I stayed for a night, and Helle and Jan have made the place so cozy and beautiful. We also caught an amazing sunset. We’ll definitely return and stay longer next time!

A lovely, artsy little place, cozy and personal. Just right for relaxing and recharging.

My 8-year-old son is fascinated by the night sky, so we booked the “dark sky cabin” months ahead for a December night, hoping to watch the stars from bed. Instead, snow left on the roof blocked the view, just like in the photo. The whole experience is advertised around dark skies, and the owners knew we were coming, but we couldn't see any sky at all. They didn't offer a refund, which left us really disappointed. It's a lovely place otherwise, but don't expect to see the stars in winter, even though that's when they recommend booking.

The Dark sky hut was amazingly cozy. There was plenty of flexibility around getting in touch and choosing whether to do things ourselves, bring our own food, or have food served there. A great stay, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The location has its charm, but I don't really understand the high ratings. They advertise themselves as “B&B, kurser, refugium,” and refugium seems fair. The place is basic and worn, with clean but very simple rooms. I can't see how 1000 DKK makes sense for their “best room with garden view”: the window looks out onto a field, and the bathroom is shared. Hotels.com should visit and reassess it. Staff were barely around, and we even had to make our own beds. There's a drinks fridge on an honour system, with payment by Mobilepay on the spot or a note to them in the morning, but the list doesn't match what's inside. It feels more like a hostel's shared fridge. The bathroom was reasonably clean, but the bedding was cheap and not very comfortable. The walls are paper-thin, so it's actually quite noisy. For the price, I expected a lot more.
