A quiet little village well off the beaten path, just right if you want to rest and unwind. The rooms are simple, but clean and fully functional.

The suite felt new and was clean, with a comfortable bed and lovely heated floors. But the bedding and towels reeked of fried food, so it was unpleasant to use them or put my head on the pillow. We’d hiked in and hoped to get food in the morning, but the person we were meant to contact hadn’t replied to emails during the week before our stay. It didn’t feel professionally managed.

A beautiful old farm, converted in an award-winning way into a hostel with a lovely feel. The shared facilities are modern, though a bit small. It can be a little noisy, but then you can hear all the birds chirping.

We stayed one night in room 1, with a private bathroom, and everything was clean and pleasant. The farmhouse sits right in the middle of Nyord town, where there’s virtually no traffic, and it was completely quiet. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was spot on: homemade buns, coffee, juice, and cold cuts. You can pay with Mobilepay, cash, or card.
