Seaside Retreat & Hotel

The people were so kind, breakfast was nice, and our room was clean and beautiful. We’ll be back.

After our wedding the day before, we came here with family to celebrate, and it became an unforgettable stay. Kris and Laila took care of every detail, including a lovely private dinner and a personalized program. We felt looked after and thoroughly spoiled the whole time. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful hotel made it feel warm and personal, and breakfast was delicious. We couldn’t have picked a better place for this occasion, and we’ll definitely return.

The gardens were in bloom, making it hard to resist morning coffee outside or a glass of wine at sunset with that idyllic view. It’s a peaceful corner of the countryside that encourages you to slow down and enjoy the scenery and the hosts’ hospitality. Each room has its own design and little bit of history.

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this recently opened retreat, tucked away on Møn with fields and water in view. Then I stepped into the big room in the old barn, met the lovely hosts Kris and Laila, and felt my shoulders drop while my spirits lifted. They showed us around and explained how the old farm had been turned into this boutique getaway. Cozy, homely, and personal are the words that fit. The rooms are in former machine halls, but you’d hardly guess it. I was in Surfer's Seaview, a bright room with a lovely bed and a great view. There was even a surfer dude rubber duck in the bathroom, a fun little nod to how I see myself. The food and drinks, from organic and, when possible, local producers, added a real sense of local quality with an international touch. Møn can do anything. I’m looking forward to another visit and would clearly recommend it.
