The meal was amazing, and the service was even warmer. We tried the Valentine’s menu and came back the next day for lunch from the regular menu. Both were beyond what we expected. After eating, we enjoyed walking the grounds beside the river and taking in the surrounding nature. We moved from the UK to Denmark more than two years ago, and I still miss the comforts of British cooking. Finding this place online after our family got a summerhouse in Agger was such a happy discovery. It feels like home away from home, and we’ll come back whenever we’re up north. Thanks for making us feel so welcome. Hope to see you again soon. 😊

The rooms aren’t the most modern, but they’re clean, comfortable, and really cozy, so that didn’t bother us. We came across this place among the farmland on our trip north and wanted to stay two nights. The old mill charm and peaceful natural setting made it a lovely find. The hosts were welcoming and very professional. Their cooking blends traditional food with modern ideas and some unusual surprises, and it may be hard to find cuisine this good anywhere. We’re delighted we found the inn and would happily recommend it or return. All the best to Dee and Mads.

The staff were so friendly and had plenty to share about the area's history. They also gave us helpful suggestions for places to visit and things to do while we were in Thy national park. We ate at the restaurant both nights, trying the amazing fish and chips and delicious cottage pie. The rooms were lovely, the food was great, and the service was fab. We’d definitely recommend staying here. We’ll be back.

The coffee was a surprise, especially the flat white, and this has become my regular coffee spot. Desserts keep surprising me too, and the food is amazing with such care given to presentation. Their wine list is thoughtfully chosen, especially the bubbles. :) What a beautiful setting. We’re glad the new owners brought their passion and gave the place an upgrade. They were kind enough to show us the rooms they’re renovating, which looked super classy so far. Now visitors to the whiskey distillery can stay just down the road. A real hidden gem, thank you!

Superb English food. We’ll be back for Pimms.
