The beach is just a four-minute walk away, and there’s a pool if you want a change of pace. The place has a relaxed, friendly feel, with happy families and retirees enjoying the quiet. Staff were great, and the setting was simple and restful. I’m already thinking about coming back on another trip, especially if I’m near Australia again.

We had a great stay, and breakfast included Danish specialties. Balka beach is about a two-minute walk away, and the sand there may be some of the finest in Europe.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the swimming pool is brand new. We enjoyed both the breakfast and dinner buffets. Highly recommend.

We stayed in a family apartment and came away disappointed. There were spiders and webs, the shower wasn’t properly cleaned, an empty ice cream box was left in the fridge, and the apartment smelled musty. Water from both the sink and shower smelled like a sewer. The beds were soft and comfortable, and renting bikes at reception was handy. The hotel itself is just okay, though, and feels stuck in the 80s, right down to the reception. There was also a strange smell in the dining area, and the ping pong and pool tables need fixing. I wouldn’t recommend it.
