Lübker Golf Resort

I’ve played Lubker Golf Course many times over the years, and it’s always a pleasure. The design and condition are both great. It’s a real gem, absolutely top class.

I’m planning a wedding and tried several times over the course of a week to arrange a meeting and see the venue. Staff gave me Mark’s number, since he was supposed to handle wedding planning. I called him repeatedly, left voicemails, and some staff also passed along my message, but he never got back to me. They don’t seem interested in booking big events, and I found them no help at all. I can’t recommend it.

The playground was a letdown. Some equipment was broken, and what was left didn’t seem well maintained, so I wasn’t comfortable letting the kids use it. It needs renovation, more for younger children, and a bench for parents. We had a lovely stay in an inviting, modern holiday home, though there were a few signs of wear that should be maintained to keep the resort up to standard. It’s a nice place to find your holiday rhythm even without golfing. We enjoyed walking around the area, including the pleasant 5 km heart-shaped loop, though it could be marked more clearly and kept from growing over. The Subtropical bath and the play area at Square Cafe were great for our young children. The food there was good too, and the staff were helpful with allergies. There are lots of fun things to do nearby in Djursland, and Randers and Aarhus aren’t far away.

The restaurant food was excellent, and the cabins are lovely, set in beautiful nature. The loops were in great shape too. The friendly people at reception made the whole stay even more enjoyable. ♥️
