Nivå Camping & Cottages

We stayed for two nights in mid-September. The sanitary facilities were clean, and there was a little shop on site. The owners were friendly too. We picked this campsite because a direct train to Kopenhagen is only a few minutes away by bike.

We stayed in one of the cabins and loved the mix: it has a kitchen, while the rest still feels like camping. The family who run the place were extremely kind and welcoming. It's a fairly small campsite, but had everything we needed, plus a shop and the option to order breakfast from a bakery. Nørreport, CPH is 35 minutes away by train, and getting from the station takes about a 15-minute walk through nature. You can hear trains passing because the site is close to the tracks, the only downside to the location. I'd recommend it.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful, and the service really deserves appreciation. We had a wonderful stay, thanks for the hospitality! The campsite is quiet and chilly, with the accommodation you need and lovely seaside views. You can come with a tent or camping van, and there's a place to grill and a hot shower. Everything was clean and nice. We also took their advice to drive from Copenhagen along the seaside, and the road and views were lovely.

This is our happy place, and we've now spent a few days here for the third year running. The owners are delightful, and renting bikes was top service. See you next year, with our roof tent as always. Italian family with dogs!
