Everything else was okay, and the minimalist design may suit some people. The hotel is within walking distance of Aalborg airport, which is handy. I found the two single beds too narrow to sleep comfortably. I've stayed in hotels across Europe, South America, China, Japan, Singapore, and Dubai, and I haven't come across single beds this small before.

We checked in at 22:30 and found the kitchen closed. The few sandwiches left in the cooler all had pork, and when we asked reception for a pork-free option, they said there was nothing else they could do. We were left hungry. For an expensive hotel by an airport, having no basic alternatives such as cheese, vegetarian, or chicken options seems amateurish, and the place lacks the vision an airport hotel needs. I've traveled for years for work and stayed in countless hotels around the world. I rarely leave reviews, but feel a responsibility to warn others. I've never had service this poor, or been left to go hungry at a hotel before. I'll remember Aalborg Airport Hotel as a place where guests can be left without food. I highly do not recommend it.

A good choice for a late arrival, since food is available in the evening. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel seems to take environmental sustainability seriously. It's also very handy for the airport, about 100 meters from the terminal.

Aalborg airport is an easy walk away, and Scandinavian airlines has flights from here. The rooms were pristine, with good linen and amenities. Seems particularly well suited to a short stay.

Everything was great apart from the tiny blanket. I arrived really late and tired and left very early, so I didn't have the energy to call reception. I'm sure they would have sorted it out if I had.
