This authentic hotel has a historic feel and is close to Nykobing harbour. The rooms are charming but not especially luxurious, with a small desk that fits a MacBook. The Self-Check-In-Code worked perfectly. Breakfast was great, with extra service at the table, and Anette (or Annet) served everything with a friendly smile and positive energy. A lovely team and a great start to a stay in Denmark.

Simone, the hostess, really made my work stay great. She was fantastic and always ready to help. I was there for 2.5 weeks, and the good-sized bedrooms and Danish breakfast with homemade rolls every morning were lovely too. Thank you, Simone.

We were a group of nine, each ordering different dishes, and everyone was just as happy with their meal. The starter, main course, and dessert were all great. Add the cozy atmosphere, good location, and fantastic service, and this place is easy to recommend.

The oysters were really fresh, and we had a great meal at the restaurant. We were told both types are local: the ones called “imported” creuses are actually immigrants that moved into the fjord in recent years.

The location couldn’t be better, and breakfast was nice, but the place didn’t meet my expectations. I wish I’d known how low the ceiling was, as the pictures show. The hall also had a very unpleasant sewage smell, which made the stay worse. The restaurant closed in July.
