The driveway is steep, so keep an eye out for that. Inside, though, it feels charming, roomy and practical, and the welcome and send-off both came with smiles, kindness and real attention. Breakfast was homemade and organic, too. A lovely stay, with cultural things to explore afterwards.

I was hoping to slow down for a bit, and this turned out to be a great place for that. My room was beautiful, with a lovely terrace, a comfortable bed and really nice bedding. I also got lucky in the evening: there were no other guests in the house, so I could use the jacuzzi. Breakfast was beautifully laid out, and the homemade warm rolls and everything else tasted delicious. I'd love to return.
