Aiden By Best Western Odense

We had a lovely time playing board games in the lounge in the evenings. The music in the background and the calm atmosphere made it a welcoming place to relax. Our room was clean, comfortable, and cosy, and breakfast suited our family. The staff were accommodating and helpful. Aiden Odense is near the expressway and away from busy Odense, which worked well for us. We’ll be back and would recommend it to our family.

The breakfast was a real strong point, with plenty of continental and hot choices, and the pastries were unbelievable. Dinner was disappointing, though. There were just two buffet options left sitting out for hours. A menu with a simple burger and a couple of healthier choices would be welcome. When I’m working away from home, I like being able to eat at the hotel instead of spending the evening looking for somewhere else. If the evening food improves, I’ll return. The rooms are clean and well presented, the showers are really good, and the beds are comfortable. Staff are friendly, but not very attentive. There’s no bell to call them, and they work behind the bar where you can’t see them. The hotel is near Odense, though I wouldn’t call it walking distance.

The evening meal was okay, but food was only served from 6 to 7, even though the stated hours went until 9. If the lobby wasn’t full of hungry guests, they would refuse to heat up more. Breakfast was basic. Housekeeping also fell short. They came into the room and took out the garbage, but I still had to ask twice to get a bedsheet changed. The advertising gives a misleading impression, and the actual place is very different from the pictures and information online. This hotel is overrated, and there are better choices nearby. The other comments are worth reading because they’re true.

The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was good. We stopped for one night while travelling across Denmark. The hotel is still quite new and in good condition, and our room was clean. We had a pleasant stay and would come back.
