The shared kitchen felt just like home, and the hosts were pleasant to chat with. They were quick to get in touch when we accidentally left toiletries behind. We loved the stay and would come again. The rooms were cozy, and we rested well, though as Americans used to cushier mattresses, the firmer beds took some getting used to. The shared bathroom on our floor was spacious and clean, and we had no issues with it. The steps are very steep, so it wouldn’t suit an older person with mobility issues. We visited from America over the long Christmas holiday. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station and downtown, depending on your pace, which is super convenient. Those small drawbacks didn’t bother us much.

The roof windows couldn’t be opened during the heavy rain, so ventilation was limited for a few hours. Otherwise, this was a really nice, clean B&B at a very fair price. The room, bathroom, sheets, and towels were clean. The stairs are quite steep, so it might not be a good choice if climbing them is difficult. I easily found a free parking spot on the street near the B&B.

The floor creaked quite a bit, and the bed was softer than I like. Still, it was a great experience overall. The kitchen had utensils for cooking your own meals, and the free coffee and tea were a nice touch.
