The little walk around the place turned up a fun surprise: they grow Christmas trees there. It’s a lovely spot out in the countryside, and the couple hosting us were very nice.

The place was quiet, though I could hear mice moving inside the walls. Apart from the bed sheets, nothing seemed to have been cleaned, and paying 10€ for breakfast felt ridiculous.

The beds and linen were good, but the apartment didn’t seem very clean, and there was a sewage smell in the bathroom. We’d booked a one-room apartment but were given a two-room one and asked to pay extra, with the owner saying it was the only one available. I had the email confirmation, and it was clear nobody else was staying there, but she insisted. I didn’t want to argue first thing in the morning. It made for a rather unpleasant stay.

The WC floor even had mould on it, and it looked like the place hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. It was filthy, possibly the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed. It seemed they just changed the bed linen and rented it out again. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here. It should be 0 stars.
