If you're out all day and just need somewhere to sleep, shower and go, this has what you'd expect: wifi, television, and a power outlet. There was only one outlet, in an inconvenient spot, so charging powerbanks is probably best. The shower and toilet were shared, which was fine for me. It was a bit expensive for one person, but, well, Dänisch prices. The bed was much too soft for me, and the blinds didn't block the light properly. That could be a problem in summer, when nights there don't get very dark.

Train delays meant we had to stay overnight in Padborg, and the Padborg Hotel turned out to be an unexpected delight. It's simple and clean, with very kind staff, including Selva? We stayed in a studio with a kitchenette. The supermarkets are a short walk away and have prepared meals and salads, while Pizza Heaven is across the street with good food and a diverse menu. The hotel is the only one within walking distance of the train station. Breakfast at the bakery is a must, and we also enjoyed the walking trail along the Danish/German border. Thanks to Selva for the recommendations!

The room was freezing and smelled like an old barn. The sheets were filthy, with nasty stains on both the sheets and mattress, and everything was dusty. It seemed to me like the previous guest had been there six months ago, but that's just my personal opinion. I ended up sleeping in the chair all night while my friends on the business trip slept in the bed. I'm telling people to avoid this hotel because I really wouldn't want the next guests to have the same experience.

The room was a good size, but although it had all the equipment needed, there was a sign saying you weren't allowed to cook. Breakfast was available. The shower was almost too cold for a normal shower.
