Kirsebærkroen

We came to Denmark to get married and spent a few days here. The hotel was beautiful and clean, and the staff made us feel at home, taking care with even the smallest things. Our little dog Lotte was welcome too, and got spoiled with treats. We had our wedding dinner and a delicious wedding cake in the lovely gardens. It made the stay feel magical. Many thanks to everyone who helped make it so special. We’re looking forward to coming back!

The food was delicious, and the kitchen got the timing right, so nothing arrived soggy or cold. After dinner, a friendly and capable bartender made a great Gin Hass and one of the best Mojitos I’ve tried. Breakfast was a tasty buffet with fresh juice and the hot drinks needed after a hangover. The small park out front was a lovely spot for welcome drinks and for cutting and eating the wedding cake. My sister’s wedding at Kirsebærkroen was amazing from beginning to end. The venue was beautifully arranged, with plenty of input from the bride and groom. The staff and management were skilled and helpful throughout, and it was a pleasure to be part of the day. After hearing how the newlyweds found the whole process, from booking through billing, I’d wholeheartedly recommend Kirsebærkroen for a wedding, reception, party, or anything in between.

We arrived late from Germany and needed somewhere to stay. Luckily, the last room was still available. It was spacious, with comfy chairs, a dining table, coffee and tea, and a private toilet and shower. The innkeeper was friendly and had everything well managed. We paid 80 euros, with breakfast extra, and I recommend that too.

There’s so much to do and see nearby that one night just isn’t enough. The inn has recently been taken over by a lovely young family who’ve renovated everything while keeping its nostalgic charm. They’ve also added a small playground for younger visitors. 10/10, would recommend.
