The pictures on the website look good, but they must be several years old. We arrived in the evening to find the place dark. We used our phone lights to get in, since nobody was there to welcome us, then found and lit some lamps. Our room had a strange sweet, moldy smell and felt poorly maintained, with nothing luxurious about it. The next morning, the lights went out. Another guest and I found the cabinet and replaced a fuse, but the same thing happened the following morning. Breakfast was okay, though the staff member seemed unsure how to handle it. The reviews are greatly overrated. Find somewhere else!

A welcoming staff, clean rooms and facilities, and a good breakfast with healthy ingredients made this a perfect B&B for a couples’ holiday. It’s also a short drive from Ribe, Rømø, Manø, and Tønder.

Inge is a lovely owner who served breakfast every morning: warm rolls, meat, cheese, jam, eggs, sausages, and a Danish delicacy. The B&B is in a great, quiet location. By car, Fano is only 40 minutes north and beautiful Romo is 35 minutes south. Our rooms were small but clean, and sharing the bathrooms was no problem. There were three bathrooms, all with new, clean showers, and getting extra towels was easy.

I’m writing in English so more people can hear about this lovely, romantic place. The service is super, they’re really upfront, and the price was fair for a very nice old-fashioned room. The bathroom is first-class! I’d give it six stars. Next time, I’ll bring my wife for a weekend.

Since it was off season, we had the place to ourselves. The owner was hospitable, and we enjoyed hearing about the property’s history. It’s a very nice bed and breakfast, and the breakfast was lovely too.
