Hotel Ringkøbing

The location was nice, but being on my own made the seating issue feel worse. I asked for a table when I ordered a glass of wine, yet they had me sit at the bar, even though plenty of tables were free and it was already quite late. Not very welcoming for a solo traveller.

Ringkøbing has quite a bit to do nearby, from the beach and kite surfing to mini golf and a water park. The hotel is right in the city center, with a rustic feel and cozy rooms. Since it's an old building, though, you can hear some noise, and there aren't many outlets for charging electronics. The restaurant menu is limited, but lunch and dinner were tasty. Breakfast could have been better. Still, it's a nice little place to stay.

We’ve had a nice visit here for two nights with our dog, for an extra charge. The room felt a little damp when we first arrived, but opening the window helped bring in fresh air. The staff have been very nice and helpful. We enjoyed a two-course dinner on Friday and a five-course one on Saturday, and the food was very good both times. Breakfast was good too, although some of the bread was a bit dried out.

The beds are comfortable, so I slept really well. In the morning you're right in the center of a cozy little Danish town, ready to go exploring. The atmosphere is comfortable and the food is really great. A very nice place, definitely recommendable.
