There were so many people packed in that it felt like 4,000, despite seating for only 2,000. That left about half the crowd with nowhere to sit and relax, and if you lost sight of your child, finding them again in that mass would be difficult. You couldn't even set a meeting spot because there weren't enough chairs. The attractions that are there had huge queues, so you couldn't really use them. The water is only about a meter deep at most, so bringing my diving mask was a foolish assumption, even though the place is called Aqualand. Why so many lifeguards for water that shallow? You'd have to be a total idiot to drown when it only reaches your belly button. I’m Danish and came with my family to enjoy the aqualand, but this felt like a scam for tourists. The engineer who designed it should be punished. It needs to be much bigger, with a proper adult pool to swim in, as the name suggests, and far more chairs. If they let 4,000 people in, they should at least have space for 4,000 seats. The building needs to double in size before I would ever consider coming back.

At Værftet (restaurant), the service was great, it was child friendly, and the food was plentiful and reasonably priced. Bones was a different story: even though we were the first customers in, the service was a bit lacking. They forgot my wife's drink, and I think the garlic butter I paid 15kr for was missing. For that price, I expected more. In Aquadome, the family changing rooms were awkward with two small children. A changing station in the booth would have made things much easier. We still had a great holiday, with just a few small things that could have been better.

The kids have lots to do here. Aqualand and Monkey Tonkey land are free, while activities like skyrider, minigolf and high jumps cost 40-50 DKK. How far you have to walk to the Lalandia center depends on which apartment you get.

We arrived on August 4th and were delighted to see baby frogs hopping all over the area, which the children loved. The cabin was spacious, well equipped, and had all the essentials; if you needed anything else, the nearest store was close. It was at the third exit from Lalandia, a pleasant, safe five-minute walk from the main building, with a large, nice playground along the way. Lalandia itself has a big, fun playground and a fantastic water park. There’s also a small grocery store with household basics and food, along with bars, restaurants, activities, an arcade hall, and a guest service center. The cabin is about a 15-minute walk from the beach and a two-minute drive from the “town.” There’s a lot more to say, but visiting is the best way to experience it. Lalandia is a wonderful vacation spot.
