Enjoy Resorts Rømø

Next time I visit Rømø, I think I’ll rent a proper summer house. These houses felt more like apartments, without much of a summer-house atmosphere, and the restaurant food wasn’t good enough to bring me back. I’d still consider using the resort’s wellness pool and bowling area and paying for access, but staying there doesn’t seem worthwhile to me.

The facilities advertised here have opening days and hours that can be very restrictive, and some may be closed for a whole week. Check and translate the opening calendar before booking. The wellness centre and pool were fine, though they could use some renovation. For what the houses are like, the stay felt very expensive. Our TV was broken, and reception ignored both the problem and my complaint. You also need to check all the kitchen equipment before moving in. The list is in Danish, and the items were mixed up. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Everything seemed fine until checkout, when I was charged more than 100 euros for electricity for just two days. It was summer, and we hadn’t used the lights, dishwasher, or washing machine. Watch out for that extra electricity cost.

We enjoyed our time at the resort, but the theft at the spa really upset us. After a day of relaxing there, someone took my girlfriend’s shoes. I’ve posted proof of what they looked like, but they haven’t turned up. It’s not just the value, it’s the lack of respect from another guest or a staff member. Whoever did it, I hope they face consequences. If anyone finds the shoes or feels remorse, please respond. We reported it to staff, but they barely responded and didn’t seem to care. There’s also very little security. Anyone can apparently walk into the spa, since nobody checks the required access bracelets. The loss cost us €120 for the Nikes and another €27 for some cheap replacement shoes from the resort. The Nikes are rare and can’t be replaced. They were size 37'5.
