The restaurant's setting was lovely, romantic, and a great fit with the building's architecture. It looked inviting from outside, and worked perfectly for our Valentines day. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and looked after. The service was among the best I've experienced, with no point in the evening when we had to wait for anyone. We had a five-course meal, and every dish was delicious, skillfully prepared and presented at just the right pace. The thoughtful wine menu made the meal even better. We had a great experience from the start, and we'd love to come back.

We arrived in an EV and, even though they said there wasn't an outlet, they somehow found a solution. We're vegan, and while vegan food isn't normally available, they prepared a meal for us. The food and service were better than we could have imagined. The hotel and sleeping arrangements were great too. Highly recommend!

Right by Knudssø (lake of Knud), it's a peaceful little gem with fine food. The owners also own Gastronomisk Institut, and the menu is ambitious and high quality. Prices are on the expensive side, but I thought it was worth every penny.

We stayed for a wedding and everything was just right. The cabins were comfortable and well equipped, the service was excellent, and the food was beautiful. Breakfast had a great choice of fresh hot and cold dishes.

The steak was good, but the lobster soup was awful, really bitter and with hardly any lobster. There weren't many non-alcoholic beers to choose from either.
