I’ve travelled a lot, and you learn something in every country. At this Scandic in Denmark, I learnt that the restaurant can refuse to serve you even when it has an available table. I thought I looked like a fairly decent person, but apparently not. It’s a shame the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, with no taxi available after dinner. Avoid it if you can.

There are lots of business travellers here, and the service is great. It’s a simple hotel experience, but a bit expensive for what you get. Internet is poor in some rooms, and there are no closets.

Comfortable rooms, friendly people, and a very good breakfast. There’s also a sauna, swimming pool, and gym.

The service was good, and the location near the lakes is amazing. But the hotel is run-down, and the bottom floor smells a bit moldy. We kept the bathroom door shut because sewer smells seeped into the room. Kids were often running and yelling in the halls, and the acoustics weren’t great. Not worth the money I paid.
