First Camp Råbjerg Mile Skagen

We rented a holiday house for four. Since there were just two of us traveling, it felt very spacious. It was clean and had a small kitchen, and a larger shared kitchen with microwaves and ovens was nearby. The campsite is well placed for Rabjerg Mile, which is well worth visiting. We rode there in ten minutes on our bikes. Skagen was also a reasonable drive away, around 20-30m.

The staff were excellent, and we stayed four nights but would happily have stayed longer. For motorhomes, the pitches are generous and hedge-enclosed. The facilities were among the best we've come across in Europe, modern, clean, and spacious. There's a well-stocked mini shop with fresh bread each day, and a cycle path to Skagen and south runs just behind the site.

The reception lady was kind and gave us all the information we needed. We only stayed one night, so didn't get to try the indoor swimming pool. The toilets were clean and fresh, and they also have family showers. You put the showers on the card from reception and pay exactly for what you used when you leave, which is a smooth system. There's a kitchen area for making coffee or food, plus dedicated spots for cleaning fish.

There are beaches not too far away, and the place has plenty to keep you busy for a few days: indoor and outdoor pools, mini golf, bike rentals, and a playground for kids. The little shop sells food, snacks, drinks, toys, and other things, and there's a kiosk too. Toilets and showers are clean. You can also use the washing machines and dryers. Nice place to stay for multiple days.
