We were there for two nights during Aalborg Carnival, with two rooms: one had new furniture and the other old. I got the old bunk bed, and climbing its ladder was tricky because it felt like the whole thing might come down. Apart from that, we enjoyed our short stay.

There weren’t any toiletries provided, not even hand soap or a hand towel, and the room felt damp and smelled of cigarettes. We were also disappointed that neither the booking site nor the email mentioned the extra cost for bed sheets and towels, around 60 DKK per person. We arrived before 19.00, but reception was closed. Our room had already been opened, with the key left inside.

The staff were kind and genuine, and it was clear they loved the place. I enjoyed the simple breakfast, though the only yoghurt was fruit flavored, which I don’t like, and I would have preferred a plain one. My only other complaint was the bathroom had no soap at all, not even a bar or dispenser for washing hands. Otherwise, it was very clean and cozy. I liked the room, and the bed was comfortable. It’s a nice place very close to Rebild Bakker, and I’d stay again.

We especially liked being able to use the common rooms and lawn. The rooms were comfortable, and the food was really tasty. We had a lovely time here.

The two ladies were unbelievably warm and courteous. Breakfast was outstanding, and the place is worth the money.
