Annette was a lovely, attentive host. She helped us check in after 6pm and suggested some great places to eat nearby. We picked Hotel Villa Brinkley because it was easy to get to the Louisiana Museum, and we also wanted to experience the local feel of the area. Breakfast had a great selection of delicious homegrown and local foods, including fruit, cheeses, vegetables, and eggs. It was just the right cozy place for an overnight stay.

We spent a winter night at Brinkly, with everything covered in a thick layer of snow. The surroundings looked spectacular. Service and the room were impeccable.

There’s so much character here, from the nearly 150-year-old historic building to all the marine touches in the interior. It sits between a sandy beach and the forest, and the backyard looked magical during a wedding this weekend. Annette gives very personal service and always goes the extra mile for guest satisfaction. The food was AMAZING, fresh and creative. This place was absolutely not boring!

Our one-night stay at Hotel Villa Brinkly was brief but delightful. It’s conveniently placed between Frederiksborg Slot in Hillerød and the Lousinia Museum of Modern Art in Humlebæk, and it’s a lovely, well-kept inn. We had dinner there, served as six different “boats” with delicious combinations of fish, meat, and vegetables. The room cost included an excellent breakfast buffet.

The hotel is charming and beautiful, with a homely, personal feel. The owners welcomed every guest with impeccable hospitality. Annette cooks incredibly tasty food, using local ingredients and plenty of vegetables to create dishes that fit the seasons. It’s close to the sea and peaceful, clean beaches. Just behind the hotel is a wonderful forest with tall, impressive trees and lots of winding paths for walking, running, or biking. A lovely spot to relax, meditate, and eat healthily.
