Humlum Camping & Cottages

The facilities are excellent, including sanitary buildings with family rooms and areas for dogs, as well as a whole bathroom section for children. There's also a kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave and grill, plus tables for eating indoors. The campsite is spacious and very peaceful, even in high season, and the people are kind and helpful. It's right by the sea, with a beach and water playground, and lovely views over the fjord. And they sell huuuuuuge ice creams!

The sanitary facilities really stood out to us, even though we're not experienced campers. They're spacious, clean and set up for everyone, including family rooms and generous areas for men, women, children, dogs and campers. Some hotels could learn from them. We were the only ones in a tent, but the super friendly operators found us a great place by the water. There's easy access to the beach and boats. We later enjoyed oysters we had spotted in the harbor at the restaurant in nearby Struer. The year-round campers were amusing to watch, staking out every millimetre of their little kingdoms with fences and flower pots 🤣

The harbor area has a cozy feel and seems fairly authentic. From above, it looks almost as if a child dug it out along the shore with a little shovel. Humlum Fishing Lodge deserves five stars. The campsite has come a long way over the last few years, with good, modern facilities. It's a super cozy place and worth giving a chance if you're in the area.

We love this place! The staff are friendly, the facilities are absolutely superb and modern, and it's right next to the Fjord where you can swim. We'll definitely be back.
