We’d happily stay here again. It’s a peaceful, beautiful rural spot, with loads of space and a comfortable place to stay. Ketty was a friendly, helpful host and suggested some interesting natural parks nearby. Thanks for making us feel so welcome. David and Gail Duba, Oregon, USA

There’s a lovely garden where you can sit outside, and the Wi-Fi worked really well. The owners were very welcoming, the shared showers were several in number and very clean, and breakfast was simple but nice. In Thistedt, restaurants shut at 9 pm on weekdays, though they stay open later on weekends.

Even in February, this was a lovely setting for a weekend course with a small group of colleagues. We had a chance to build our sense of community, and the place was warm and comfortable. The people running it were kind, looked after us well, and made us feel welcome. A cozy place, definitely recommend.
