Hotel Norrevang

We celebrated my birthday with the family and had a great time. The food and service were good, and the prices were fair. They put us in a large room just for our group, which we really appreciated.

The bathroom was the main drawback: its drain didn't work, so after my shower the floor filled up like a pool, and a few extra towels would have helped. The room itself was cozy and quite good for the price. We ate at the restaurant. The starter tartare was tasty and a very large serving, while the rib eye was so-so. I'd suggest the sirloin platter instead. The apple pie was great, and the wine list was fairly extensive and nice. Breakfast had everything you need to start the day. Also, the waiter working there was very nice.

We didn't stay at the hotel, just went for dinner together. Our table was booked for seven, and they warned us at the start that food would take longer than usual, which was no problem. People ordered all sorts of things, from fish and meat to vegetarian food. I chose the vegetarian burger. It was crispy and delicious, but the chili sauce in the bun was too spicy for me and took over the flavor. I haven't had a spicy burger before, and don't think it should be spicy. The service was good, though.

A beautiful, modern hotel. My room was as small as it could be, just as the booking had said. The evening service was perfect, while breakfast service could improve when it comes to availability.
