Havgaarden Badehotel

The hotel is in a really great location, and we had a very pleasant experience with the restaurant service. But I wouldn't recommend staying here. Our room wasn't clean: our two-year-old found and ate an old piece of candy from the floor, then later found a tobacco pouch and thankfully handed it to us instead of eating it. I told the manager at checkout. She said they had a new cleaning team and would improve their work, but that didn't change our experience. We still paid full price for something that wasn't acceptable.

There was barely anything in the plain, small room besides a bed and a little closet, and the bathroom was cramped too. The restaurant food was fairly tasty if you don't mind small portions, but it felt very overpriced for what you got. The main course of ravioli was literally three small pieces, which wasn't enough.

Courtesy only goes so far, and at this hotel it doesn't go far at all.

I came here to unwind and clear my head, and that's exactly what I managed to do. The lovely hotel is less than a five-minute walk from the beach, and Pia and Alex were incredibly welcoming. Thanks again, Pia and Alex.
