Four Points Flex by Sheraton Vejle

The views across the Fjord are great, and the hotel has a bar on the 11th floor, a gym, laundry facilities, and an Italian restaurant downstairs. The showers are decent. It’s fine for a short stay at a three-star level, though I’m not sure about the bare concrete walls. Parking is in the neighbouring car park, which isn’t part of the hotel.

We had a pleasant three-night stay. It’s clean, friendly, and has a cool style, with everything you need and a good breakfast. Good value for money, too. Within walking distance there’s a good Italian restaurant, a pastry and coffee shop, and a Ribbenstegsandwich food truck. For anyone having trouble with parking or getting a ticket, there are several signs explaining where and how to park. You can leave the car in front of the hotel for 30 minutes with a timer, then move it to the garage a minute away and pay by app. Easy.

The parking was the main problem for me. I paid, but because of an issue with the system I still got fined 900 DKK. The staff were quite basic in everything, and I’d suggest they greet guests with a smile and work with the city of Vejle to improve parking. The hotel has a Scandinavian style and is clean, about a 20-minute walk from central Vejle. There’s a well-equipped gym with a nice view, and a very good restaurant downstairs.

I was here on a work trip and found the staff very friendly. The restaurant only has one set menu, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the food was exquisite and they explained every course.
