Kirk Suites

The town and nearby parks, including Deer Park, are lovely for a walk, and the surrounding area has a lot of charm. There’s a nice restaurant, Enzo and C, on the ground floor by the hotel entrance. Mention that you’re staying at the zleep hotel and show your room card to get 10% off. There’s also a Fortex supermarket at the end of the road and an ok Petrol station open 24 hours. If you’re driving, there’s a paid multi-storey car park just before the hotel entrance and bridge. It costs 138dkk for 24 hours, and you can pay with the Easy Park app or at the pay-and-display machine in the corner. There’s also 30 minute parking outside zleep, which is the reception for Kirk. For check-in, go to the top floor of the Zleep hotel to get your key. Kirk suites are managed through the hotel, and reception staff will show you the connecting corridor to the suites. You can use the rooftop bar, the small but well equipped gym on the 1st floor, and the laundry room on the 3rd floor. I had the cheapest suite. It had a full mini kitchen with a fridge, oven, hob, and dishwasher, plus a dining table and chairs for four, a balcony sitting area for two, and a double bed. The toilet was separate from the shower room, and there were three mirrors, including a full length one. Under-bed lights came on automatically when you got up at night and switched off after a couple of minutes without movement. There were three thermometers in the room. Setting one to 22c gave me that temperature, though you can also open the window and door.
