The Note

The forest chill-out room was such a calm, relaxing escape from everyday life. We also loved the room itself, where every detail felt thoughtful, stylish, and unique, with a warm, inviting feel. We had a memorable stay at The Note and would happily come back.

The receptionist on the evening shifts on Thursday the 6th and Saturday the 8th really made my stay. I had trouble with the language, but she helped sort out my parking so I wouldn't risk a fine, and made sure I could use the hotel's agreement with the nearby gym. She was attentive, warm, and professional, the kind of person who adds real value to a company and makes you feel lucky to meet her. You can recognize her because she looks like the actress Margaret Qualley. Five stars because of her. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and well equipped.

I paid 95 DKK for a 24-hour ticket through the EasyPark app, which said it covered the whole parking area, and parked at Flegmade 6A–6B as the official hotel website said guests could. I still got a parking fine. The hotel later said guests may only use spaces marked with a “The Note” sign, but cars parked in front make those signs barely visible. Neither the website nor the app clearly warns you about this, so the instructions are misleading and confusing. When I complained, the hotel said I should have watched a “parking video” beforehand and that it was my responsibility as the driver. Seriously? For a place that presents itself as modern and guest-friendly, this is unacceptable. I followed the instructions and paid, but was fined anyway. Never again.

The homemade Nutella at breakfast is a must, and the drive to LEGOLAND takes 30minutes. This was definitely the best of all the hotels we stayed at in Denmark. The rooms were modern, spacious, and super clean. Thank you!
