Banegaardshotellet

The breakfast was excellent, and we had a great dinner at the hotel restaurant too. The proprietors were so friendly and quick to help. I’d definitely recommend it.

We spent four days at Bånegardshotellet with our family after our camper broke down. Kim and Dangira were incredibly kind, and even helped us find a garage and a car for free. We really enjoyed their company and the food. The hotel has a retro feel, and they’re renovating it step by step. We ate well at both dinner and breakfast. Breakfast had eggs, sausages, local honey and bread, fruit, and delicious teas. There’s a swimming pool about a ten minute walk away, with three slides and two saunas. We went twice, and it wasn’t expensive. The train station is across the road, but we couldn’t hear the trains. Haderslev is about 15 minutes away by car, and the bus stops at the station across the road. There are lots of nice shops and restaurants there, plus bowling, laser tag, and an indoor playground. In summer, you can also watch a big go kart competition in Vojens for free. Thanks, Kim and Dangira. We wish you all the best!

The food was really, really good, and I especially liked the Australian house wine. Service was super, and the setting felt cozy. I’d recommend giving it all a try, and I’ll absolutely be back!

It’s clean, but the room is pretty basic and not very modern.
