Hotel Caribe

The staff deserve five stars, especially Frank, the server. He was so nice and really accommodating of my 5 year old daughter's needs. The food is good, but after three days the lack of variety gets tiring. The rooms could use an update, and be prepared for noise since the hotel is on one of the main streets. For what you pay, it's a good hotel, though there's room to improve.

The beds could be comfier, and the breakfast and dinner are just okay, nothing special. Still, it's a comfortable place to stay, with kind, generous staff and a pretty patio for sitting and eating. There's a cute little pool, AC, and a small 10 inch TV. It's cheap and decent.

For RD$1,450.00, the rate includes breakfast and dinner, and both meals are pretty decent. The rooms are clean and spacious, with AC, hot water, and everything you need. It isn't a luxury hotel, but it's okay.

Both nights, we were woken by a group gathered outside on the street, blasting music for at least 40 minutes. It was the most insane thing I've ever witnessed. There's a sign on the back of the door about earplugs, but nobody at the front desk warned us. You'll need them if you want to sleep. The food was very limited and bland when it was available. Stay somewhere else if you want a good night's sleep.
