Enrique, my personal trainer at the Fitness center, was amazing and came up with great exercises for my mom and me. That service was unexpected, and we really enjoyed it. We also had fun at yoga and Zumba, with plenty of other good activities. Fresh coconut water was a highlight. Room service was a bit slow. We asked for extra towels since there were two of us sharing a room, but they never managed to get it right.

Darel, our butler, was phenomenal about checking in daily and staying on top of our reservation needs. That's a big reason we'll come back. The beach is phenomenal too. The rooms are quite dated, though they'll be closed for renovations from April - November. Food was good. The beach buffet was the same every day, so we switched things up with an Al la carte lunch at the Gourmet restaurant, which was EXCEPTIONAL. I don't eat breakfast, but they treated my husband kindly each day. Martina and Ariel went beyond the call of duty, and the staff even decorated our table with flowers each time we came for dinner. It's our first time at MC and we've enjoyed our stay.

There was so much to do, with a whole team putting on games and parties for guests. Mata e coco was hilarious, and the nightly shows were really entertaining, almost like having our own Coco Bongo experiences. The food was fantastic, too. With five restaurants, we never repeated a dinner. The staff were so friendly. Can't wait to come back!

Ma+Suri's Teppanyaki and Le Gourmet were the best restaurants for us. The buffet was average, pretty much like one back in the states. I'd stick to the items cooked in front of you, since the others can sit out for a while. Most of the staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous. The towel cabana worker was a bit grouchy, but Edwin and Yohanny, two bartenders, more than made up for it. I can't say enough about them. They were always smiling, even while serving rude college kids. At checkout, we got flyers asking us to rate every category at least four stars, and the workers pushed us to leave Google reviews. That was probably my biggest downside. Being pressured for reviews rubs me the wrong way. The room was a typical hotel room, cramped and not very well maintained, but acceptable. A 4.5-star experience, and I'd love to return.
