We booked this villa on booking.com about a month ahead of our trip. They sent contact details right after the reservation, but when we asked for the exact location a couple of days before arrival, nobody replied. When we reached the address listed on booking, there was no villa there. Staff at a nearby hotel said we weren’t the first tourists this had happened to and offered us a room. This is a fraud. The villa doesn’t exist.

My stay was meant to start today, and I still couldn’t get any help from booking.com. Other reviews say this place doesn’t exist, so it seems like a scam, and I don’t understand how it’s allowed to operate on the site. Has anyone else been charged? I’m trying to work out how to avoid taking this up with my bank.

I booked through booking.com and got a confirmation and a message, but nobody answered when I tried calling or writing to them. There are no villas like this. This is fraud.
