It's not bad for a budget stay, but there are some things they could fix. The shower was broken, and water came out of three different places, including the head of the hand shower. The bed was so soft that it was hard to sleep comfortably, since the softness left me in awkward positions. The air conditioner leaked and left us with a small puddle by morning. Also, the water pump beside my room was very loud whenever it turned on.

The food was good and the location excellent, with the beach about a 10 minute walk away. The hotel feels cozy and has great vibes. It was recently renovated, and you can tell they took care with the work. I'd definitely stay again with my family.

We went to the restaurant as a family, and it seemed like a nice place to enjoy a meal together. But the food was too expensive for the service and quality. My wife and I ordered two hamburgers, and each was just a bun with meat and one slice of cucumber. There were no tomatoes, ketchup, or mayonnaise, and nobody asked if we wanted any. Other places in Bayahíbe cost less and serve better food, often with fries, which you'd expect for this price.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant and poolside area were nice, with a little karaoke. The beach is a ten minute walk, with shops and tiendas along the way. I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel feels authentic and is worth experiencing. I totally recommend staying here.
