We felt safe throughout our stay and really enjoyed it. The beach was less than a five-minute walk away, with a small convenience store about one or two minutes away and a larger grocery store around ten minutes away. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Before we arrived, the host answered our questions quickly and helped arrange a transfer with a great driver we used for rides during the rest of the trip. We were there with my wife, our four-year-old, and our four-month-old. Road noise from motorbikes, trucks, and other traffic was the one thing we didn’t love, but it wouldn’t stop us from staying again. We’d definitely come back.

I called at the last minute and think I got the best apartment in the whole block. Everyone working here was friendly and very accommodating. I loved being so close to the beach, and playing dominoes at night with the nighttime security guy was fun. This is definitely my go-to place in Boca Chica.

Boca Chica is a small town, but it’s worth visiting. The sea was the calmest I’ve seen anywhere, great for swimming, and you can see fish. The area is kept clean, and we found the food and service surprisingly good wherever we ate. We felt like we were really on vacation. Parco Del Caribe was only 10 minutes from the airport, and the apartment was comfortable with everything we needed. The balcony was lovely for sitting and looking out at the courtyard. From arrival to departure, everyone was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, and we felt like extra VIP. We spent our last few nights on the island here, a perfect end to the trip. For a quick getaway, it felt like paradise. I highly recommend it.

We booked three nights and left at about 4 a.m. on the first night. The “Superior” apartment was filthy and disgusting, nothing like the online photos. The mattress was awful and smelled like sweat. Floors were dirty, the AC made loud noises now and then, the safe didn’t work, WiFi kept disconnecting, things were broken, and the unit lost electrical power. I could keep listing problems. We’ve traveled in the DR since 2012 and spend 5-6 months a year in the country. This was our worst experience ever. What a horror.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it by several days. The staff were friendly, the rates reasonable, and the rooms clean and well equipped. There are two cats and one dog on the property. They moved us to a top-floor room, which was a bit more rustic and had no AC, but the private “rooftop terrace” and cooling breeze more than made up for it. The location couldn’t be better, about a five-minute walk to the beach and close to everything else we needed. Easy five stars, probably the best stay of our six-week Caribbean trip.
