We barely got any sleep because it was so loud. The room also wasn't very clean, and it went untouched for three days. Calling this a 4-star place? I really don't think so.

The food was delicious, and the coffee was the best I've had in the DR. Everything was clean, the decor was pretty, and the service was great. I visited on May 15, 22, and the water was hot, so I don't understand all the comments saying it wasn't. My room was a little noisy, though my sister's wasn't. I'd say it's the best place in the area.

The room itself was comfortable and clean, and the hotel is centrally located. But the area gets very noisy. Motorcycles are the city's main transportation, so there's a lot of noise pollution. If you're looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing, surrounded by nature, this isn't the place.

The street noise kept me from sleeping, and the rooms really need soundproofing. Aside from that, everything was good: the room was nice, breakfast was good, and the decoration was beautiful.

The restaurant is really nice, and the hotel has great service. Just let the shower run for a little while before expecting hot water.
