The restaurant was okay, but the location is obscure and I don't think it was worth the trip. I wasn't happy with the dessert. It cost $6/380peso and was a tiny banana with some kind of sauce. When it came out, I thought, what the hell is this?

A great spot to relax. You can stay in one of the bungalows or rent one of the apartments through Airbnb. The restaurant food is amazing, really delicious and cheap.

The water at Playa Paraíso in Gaspar Hndz was warm and crystal clear, with a few cold currents that weren't very strong. It stayed around waist high for roughly half a mile to a mile. The waves were just high enough for the kids to try jumping them, but gentle enough not to cause any trouble. Getting there is exciting too: the mountain road runs past precipices and is awe inspiring. Most of it is fairly new, though our driver said the city fixes two stretches and they soon return to the same condition. It's one of the most beautiful beaches I've visited, and I'll definitely come back.
