We paid 2,600 pesos a night, but had no running water and electricity only came on now and then, even though the nearby houses had power. Our rooms were also missing basics like pillowcases and blankets. When I asked about the price, I got nothing but excuses. The location is handy when entering town, but that’s about all I can say for it. I wouldn’t stay here again.

It’s handy if you just need somewhere to sleep, but I wouldn’t want to stay longer. The place used to be much better. Since the administration changed about a year ago, it hasn’t been maintained properly, and there are water leaks and other issues.

The room was clean, but for the price I expected basic things like a toilet seat and somewhere to set soap in the shower. The hotel advertises a restaurant, but it’s closed, and there’s no generator for power outages. I’ll look for somewhere else on my next trip to Higuey.

It’s very quiet, and probably the best hotel in Higuey. The rooms are nice, most with kitchens, and the staff are friendly. There’s a newer section across the street with a restaurant on the top floor, though it’s closed for remodeling. Multiplaza mall is almost directly across the road.

There’s a stove and refrigerator, but no pots, pans, or plates. The air conditioner remote didn’t work, so I had to get out of bed to switch it on or off. There were mosquitoes too.
